Oops . In my above first comment, I just now had to edit a default URL to the Au Tropical Rainforest Plants information system – which in my business this morning I had forgotten to edit. Excellent fact sheet in there, worth a look: https://apps.lucidcentral.org/rainforest/text/entities/harnieria_hygrophiloides.htm .
No problem at all Jason, this is what I found: https://parks.desi.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0024/165741/maleny.pdf See page 2 (extract below). Hope this helps!
Native plants and animals A comprehensive plant survey recorded 500 species of which five are scheduled as of conservation significance (Table 2). A further eight species are also considered priority taxa for South East Queensland. These are Brunoniella spiciflora, white karambal Harnieria hygrophiloides, velvet leaf Callicarpa pedunculata, Grevillea hilliana, Triflorensia cameronii, Dinosperma melanophloia, Artanema fimbriatum and white apple Endiandra virens.
Thanks Ange. Yes i hope the population thrives. Where's the information source of Qld priority taxa including this, please ? If you have ready access to the source, saving me searching for it as well while my laptop screen has already overflowed with windows while busy now. I will add it into NatureMapr's page for this species, which i have just updated. In the Qld Plants Census i use everyday no mention of special conservation status for this species or any of the 3 _Harnieria_ spp. in Qld.
